The Spring Classics are over, and we have another year to wait before our favourite week of racing returns.
While we don’t get up in the early hours to watch the racing, you can rest assured that come 9am the morning after our overflowing inboxes remain exactly that as our attention is consumed by freshly brewed coffee and replays of the cobbled courses we dream of riding.
To us, the Spring Classics are cycling at it’s purest. It’s all or nothing, tomorrow’s stage doesn’t exist. You cross the line first, or you wait another year for your shot at glory. As the Giro d’Italia approaches, we start to get excited but we’ll be reminiscing the Classics until their return.
‘Til next year.
